This aluminium framing square is extremely accurate and is designed for a multitude of layout work. It has built in protractor for measuring angles that has radii of R40 and R60 for drawing curves. It is capable of self-standing on its removable base for vertical marking and measuring. It has two quick angle finders for 30° and 45° and includes euro style hinge mounting holes in the section above the handle. The square can also be used to draw parallel lines at 1mm increments from the edge of your workpiece. There are a series of 5 holes running across the blade every 5mm, with the first hole being the at 0mm on the measuring scale. For example, the first hole is next to the 0mm engraving, the hole next to this is 1mm and the next hole is 2mm and so on. There is a lip on both the front and back of the handle which keeps the square flat against the workpiece edge, meaning the square can also be used to draw perpendicular lines. We would recommend using a 0.5mm fine pencil to achieve the best results when using this rule.
